Emilie works her magic all around our estate every day! Take a look at what her Christmas plans are and where you would find her at the Christmas party…

Day 7 is here and we have the fabulous Emilie. Emilie looks after lots of things around the estate, most recently she sprinkled lots of festive magic over Wyresdale for Christmas. Take a look at her Q&A here:

What is your favourite part of your working day at Wyresdale Park?

Catching up with everyone at the start of every day, we are so lucky in our office James and Katie have built the most incredible and supportive team and it’s really brings me a lot of joy getting to work with them.

What interests do you have outside of work?

My interests outside of work are extensive I like to keep a full plate, but my most favourite thing I love to do is grow flowers and herbs to make my own products.

What would we be likely to find you at the Christmas party?

The Dance Floor!

What is your favourite spot here at Wyresdale Park?

My most treasured spot at Wyresdale is either the secret bit of roof only I can get to or the trained red woods in the forest of the south lawn they make a blissful place go read a book OR the steps at the front of the hall at golden hour, that is TRULY * chefs kiss *

Must- watch Christmas movie?

I’m not sure, I feel like I have loads! Maybe I’ll just be basic and say Home Alone or Elf - wait actually maybe Uncle Buck or The Holiday, Do you know what I really just love most Christmas movies I think.

Best Christmas present you have ever received?

I’d say I don’t really have a favourite present I really just love Christmas and advent in general, I’m OBSESSED I love getting to spend time with friends and family, so I’d say my favourite gift is quality time with them and Fred’s (my little boy’s) face on Christmas morning.

What are your plans for Christmas day?

Surrounded by my family soaking up some time together. Bliss.

Least favourite Christmas side-dish?

Does cranberry sauce count? I don’t enjoy the sweet jelly next to my potatoes or cauliflower cheese. NOT for me!

Tell us an interesting fact about Wyresdale Park?

There’s so many!

Mulled wine or a hot chocolate?

Hot chocolate for sure, mulled wine is giving instant heartburn, and I’m not a big drinker.
