A WRYESDALE PARK WEDDING FOR CATHERINE & MARTIN

A guest blog from Samantha Broadley Photography

When Catherine and Martin first made contact with me about their wedding I was super excited. Not only would it my first Wryesdale Park wedding. I knew it would involve their dogs. As Catherine is just as obsessed with her four legged friends as I am. I joined Catherine on her parents farm for bridal preparations. In my element with wedding entire, horses and dogs. What more could a girl want. The church ceremony was perfect for the two of them. All their family and friends there to witness the marriage. We didn’t stay long outside the church as it was extremely windy. We had just enough time for a bit of confetti throwing, my fave. We had the awesome Wryesdale Park Wedding Barns waiting for us.

THE WYRESDALE PARK WEDDING BARNS

The wedding breakfast room set up in the barn looked amazing thanks to the awesome team and Bluebell and Daisies who supplied all the beautiful flowers. Wild floral style centre pieces filled with purple and blue flowers really suited the rural laidback barn atmosphere. It did truly look absolutely stunning.

NOT KEEN ON HAVING MY PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN

Catherine and Martin’s wedding definitely didn’t disappoint. Martin had warned me that he wasn’t keen on having his photograph taken. If only I had a pound for every time I’ve heard that. In the end Martin secretly really enjoyed having his photograph taken. I always try and make my couples feel really at ease while photographing them, chatting and making a fool out of my self is normally the way I relax my couples.

If your planning your wedding I would love to hear from you. I’d like to photograph at the Wryesdale Park wedding Barns again, so please do get in touch.
