“We fell in love with Wyresdale as soon as we wandered around it after a walk on the Nicky Nook. No other venues came close, and it just felt right for us. One of the main things we loved was that we could put our own stamp on the day, and make it feel really personal - the venue is beautiful without any decorations, so the fact that we could add some simple touches to make it feel like us was perfect. All of our guests commented on how beautiful it was, and how unique the day felt.

We went for a mid-week wedding for a few reasons. The cost element was a factor, but actually it gave us more time either side to setup and pack down which was a lot less stressful, and it meant that many of our guests actually made a little holiday out of their trip up to attend. 

The team at Wyresdale were an absolute dream to work with, and made absolutely every element run smoothly. No idea was too crazy, no question was too ridiculous, they were so on board with our vision from the start and really did help to make it the best day of our lives.”
